The popular resort town of Stowe near the spin of the Green Mountains east of our home in Williston. We have provided heating, air conditioning, water heating, and plumbing service to Stowe residents since 1984. Vermont Energy is licensed and insured to provide services to Stowe businesses and homeowners, and our decades of experiences make us the perfect choice.
At Vermont Energy we offer a broad range of central heating and air conditioning services for Stowe residents and businesses. Both hot water boilers and ducted furnaces are common in Lamoille County.
In older Stowe buildings boiler systems are very common. While they do not accommodate air conditioning, when properly designed and installed a gas or oil boiler can provide quiet comfortable heating for decades. Vermont both services existing systems and installs new high-efficiency boilers from Weil McLain, Energy Kinetics, and Triangle Tube. For information about our Stowe boiler services click here.
A benefit of ducted gas or oil furnace systems is that they can support air conditioning, air cleaning, and humidifiers systems. At Vermont Energy we feature YORK® 98% plus gas furnaces. We are also fully licensed and insured to maintain and repair all brands of furnaces. Learn more about our furnace services here.
Even though Stowe lies in the heart of the Green Mountains, summer air conditioning is a must for businesses and is increasingly common in area homes. At Vermont Energy, our EPA certified technicians both service and install all brands of central air conditioning. If you need a new AC system we feature YORK® Air Conditioning. Whiles not a traditional choice in Stowe, changes in refrigerant technology have made cold weather ductless heat pumps a great option for four-season efficient comfort and domestic water heating.
Mini-split, or ductless heat pumps have been used worldwide since the 1970s, and their use has grown rapidly here in Vermont in recent years. Mini-splits have both high operating efficiencies and are extremely flexible with a range of configurations. We feature low temperature heat pumps from Mitsubishi. Very satisfied. Only two complaints. One might be a bit more training time on how to run the remote and settings. I was using the \automatic\ setting and was getting frequent rumbling fan noise, but that seemed to stop when I complained and was told to put the setting on \heat\ instead. Now it seems to run quieter.
The other is that by attaching the outdoor unit to the wall, quite a bit of a hum from the unit outdoors gets sent in, as if through an amplifier, into the house. Better maybe to mount on brackets connected to the foundation rather than siding. Or on separate footing in the ground.
