08-28-23We recently replaced our 30 year old gas furnace (installed by Vt Energy in 1993), with the very efficient Trane furnace. The service provider, Pat, did an outstanding job installing the new heating unit. The removal of the old unit and installation of the new took a little more than a day. The clean up was thorough!! Our future plans may include a heat pump or AC unit which we will definitely look to get an estimate from Vt Energy for those services! Great job.... The Brewsters

07-18-23We have had a great experience with Vermont Energy, and can't recommend them highly enough. Our salesman, Pat, was fantastic. He provided a very fair quote right away, and the installation was done exactly when we were told it would be done. We had five heat pumps installed, and they provide wonderful cooling of our home this summer. One of the heat pumps required a minor tweak, and Pat came and fixed it... on his VACATION!!! We highly recommend Vermont Energy. Pat is truly an outstanding salesperson. He is fair, honest, easy to work with, and a person of integrity. 04-22-23Vermont Energy installed a 4 zone, 2 exterior unit low temperature heat pump system for us. Throughout the process they were wonderfully professional, responsive, and helpful. As the project progressed, they listened to our needs while providing their own expert feedback, and we were very happy with the end result. I would recommend them very highly to anyone considering a heat pump.

02-09-18Requested an annual servicing of our heat pump. When the service person got here, he spent the majority of his time reading the manual of the unit. The only servicing he did was to shake the filter out outside which we do regularly anyway. Was charged $110 just for the travel time and \first half hour on site\, plus an extended travel fee of $60 because we are beyond local service area and we were not told that this was the case or that there would be an additional charge when we booked the service. The labor cost was $25 in addition, to give us a whopping bill of $194.75 for someone to come and stand in our living room reading a manual and then shake out the filter. I will not hire them again and am very disappointed in this service. I would give no stars if I could but that doesn't seem to be an option.
